Finding products for your audience is an important part of your job as an affiliate marketer. You keep studying your audience so that you know all their pain points and how they like receiving their solutions. Then you search for those solutions, and you either buy those solutions or ask the creator for a review copy.

Create a Solution as a Bonus

When you find products and solutions for your audience, don’t try to pass them off as perfect. In fact, when things aren’t perfect that’s a great place to add a bonus or additional solutions that you create to the product.

This is one of many methods for making your promotions stand out from the crowd. The fact that you are offering a bonus with the purchase of the solution makes your offer very different from what everyone else is offering. You just have to get the word out about it using all the means you have at your disposal.

Here are the Steps:

  • Review the Product – In your review blog post, tell the truth about the product. Describe everything it does for the user and how it does it. Give the awesome, the mediocre, and the bad about the product so that your audience has all the reasons why they should buy this product as well as the cautions of what the product won’t do for them.
  • Create Your Bonus – Ensure that the bonus you create fixes the flaws you stated and lives up to your promises. One really great thing about your audience buying something with your bonus is that you will either get them on your list or segment your list further.
  • Point Out the Flaws – Make a point to give them the details about the flaws in a way that shows you really know what you’re talking about. After all, you are an expert in your niche, so you know what the audience needs and wants.
  • Provide the Fix for The Flaws – Now here’s the key – fix the flaws. Point out that they only get your bonus if they purchase via your link.  Make sure they know it will fill in all the gaps that you’ve pointed out and make the product even better for them.
  • Promote Everywhere – Once you’ve created your bonus offer, now it’s time to start promoting the solution with the bonus using every means you have such as blog posts, social media updates, webinars, and ads.

When you do this, you’re going to stand out from the rest of the people currently promoting the product. This is especially true when you’re involved in a promotional contest. Lots of affiliates promote more during contests than they normally otherwise would which means you will need to stand out more.

Adding a fix for the flaws will make a huge difference, plus being honest about your review will also make you stand out from the crowd.
