Grow Your Affiliate Sales by Boosting and Sharing Content That’s Already Making Sales
Do you know which content you have on your blog that gets read the most? What about your email messages? The content that is read the most holds the key to what your audience is most interested in. It’s those topics that you should focus more on. But there is a simple way to make use of this content especially if it’s evergreen, but even if it’s not, you can reuse it to make more sales by boosting and sharing popular content that’s already made sales.
Resend the Emails
If the promotion is limited in time, but still going on, go ahead and resend the email. Resend it several times during the campaign process. Consider switching up the subject line a little to make it seem fresh. Send it specifically to people who did not open it, too. Since it takes 7 to 14 times to get someone to convert, consider sending the messages that many times.
Re-Promote the Blog Posts
Same thing: if the blog post is not evergreen but the time is still working in your favor, repromoted the post to get more traffic to it. Try promoting it via Facebook Ads, Google Ads, Instagram Ads, and so forth. Leave no stone unturned. Promoting your blog posts via social ads can make a huge difference in how many people see it. You can also use software like Hootsuite or Missinglettr to automatically resend any blog posts you’ve set up in the system.
Add Them to an Email Sequence
If they’re evergreen worthy or you can make them that way with a bit of editing, do that. The copy has already proven to make sales so you should use it in every way that you can. Put them into one of your evergreen autoresponder sequences that go out automatically and that way everyone who signs up for your email list will get exposed to it. (Hint: set it up to go out more than once throughout the year).
Create More Content Like It
Another thing you can do with the information you learn by using Google Analytics to check which content makes the most sales is to create more content like it. Whatever topic it’s about can be recreated into other formats, or you can create content from a new angle. If it’s a “how to,” create a “why.” If it’s a list post, turn that list post into separate blog posts about each point on the list.
It’s important to know what content you’ve created that is making actual sales. Use Google Analytics to find out which content on your site is read the most and list that with the next four pieces of content that are read the most and focus on getting those remarketed to your audience regularly.
