Welcome to Affiliate Marketing for Seniors!

My name is Barb Hill – that is me, triple chins and all – and I am retiring very soon.  I am tired of piddling about making a bit of money here and there with affiliate marketing. I am upping my game and moving from playing at affiliate marketing to using it as a source of retirement income.

I have been online and investigating marketing on the internet since 2007. I have tried more systems and spent more money than I don’t care to think about – it is embarrassing really. Things would work for a while and then stop working. Over and over. I did not understand (or maybe did not want to know) that chasing the latest and greatest “easy push button solution” was never going to work. Never.

I have had the goal of a full-time income for a while but have never put in the effort required to actually move in that direction. Instead, I have gone from one new shiny object to the next, looking for something that will quickly bring in the money. Good luck with that!

I have earned over $1,000 in a day, woohoo, but… I was never able to repeat it despite all my efforts.  I  lost my mojo. I was tired, discouraged, skeptical that I could ever make this work.

I recently realized that I have not been able to figure out a system that works because I have not followed completely any one method.  It seems I thought I knew better that successful marketers.  WRONG!

Right now, I have a full-time job and lots of other commitments so it’s not like I can spend all day on this. I have 2 – 3 hours a day that I can put towards this so my progress may not be all that fast BUT my job comes to an end VERY SOON so I need to get my butt in gear.

As I go through this challenge, and after I start seeing success, I will continue to post here so you can follow along if you want to and learn that you too can be an affiliate marketing ninja, regardless of your age.
